How to Reach Naltar valley:
There are two routes from Gilgit to Naltar, one through Nomal Road and the other through Karakoram Highway to Nomal. if you travel from Gilgit via Karakoram Highway to Nomal at the beginning of Rahimabad village. There is a service road, which connects Nomal village with Karakoram Highway. You can park your car in Nomal except 4x4, hire a jeep from Nomal valley and reach Naltar. The daily fare for a 4x4 jeep is seven to eight thousand. 7,000 to 8,000 include the route from Nomal to Naltar and 24 hours later from Naltar to Nomal. At the moment there is a lot of work being done on the "expressway" from Nomal to Naltar, so the jeep fare and time may be more. The road from Nomal to Naltar is completely rough and sloping. It will be the good fortune of the bike owner for any bike other than Honda 125 to reach Naltar alive.

There are a large number of hotels in Naltar valley, where delicious food, clean administration and quiet place make the atmosphere more pleasant. At "Zero Point" in Naltar you will find three or four hotels where you can get a room according to your status. Room charges at various hotels range from 3,000 to 8,000. You can't set up your tent at Zero Point, but you can set up your own tent anywhere on the way to the lakes.

Way to the lake in Naltar valley:
There are two lanes from Naltar Zero Point, one downhill, which leads to Nagheral/Nagral, Helipad, Snow Leopard Sanctuary, Chairlift and Ski Slope. The other way out from Zero Point is to the lakes and Naltar Pass. The journey from Zero Point to the lake (Blue Lake) can take forty minutes to an hour.
On the way to the lake from Zero Point, you will be greeted by waterfalls, some bridges, drains, dense forests, you can take photographs along the way, but permission is required before taking photos from people and homes. Finally, now you have reached Naltar Lake I or Bashkiri Lake I (Satrangi).
Here you can relax from the hotel like huts. there is series of lake close to Satrangi lake, Bashkiri Lake I, Bashkiri Lake II, Bashkiri Lake III, Bashkiri Lake IV and Bashkiri Lake V.
Naltar lake II or Bashkiri Lake II also knows as (Blue Lake) , Naltar lake III (Firoza lake/Pari Lake) and Green lake . there is another lake, called Bodlok lake(Badulok lake) /Naltar Lake IV also knows as (Murky Lake /Milk Lake(Dhood lake), which can only be reached by trekking. The track is not long but there is a slope due to, it takes time to reach around in forty to fifty minutes. there is few more lake up Naltar pass trek.
Mobile networks in Naltar valley:
There is no network in Naltar except Scom and Zong.
